Amazing work

From all the games I've ever seen this one is by far the best working FLASH action rpg I've ever played in my entire life. I liked so much that I'm willing to write a full review about it here.

Gameplay = 9
The history is fantastic so as the tutorial included as you play, which made me feel compassion for all characters. The game play is solid and deserves all 10's it could ever get. The rpg feeling that was given to it is incredible and made me play and beat the game 3 times in a row (except for the last one on hard mode which I couldn't kill the final boss. hardcore!). The only issue I had is that the only possible way I could actually play perfectly well is by boosting up a single spell (power sword) and leaving the rest to stats. All other spells seems good in theory, but when put in practice they are unusable through most bosses, which is where the hardcore part begins. For whoever reads this, one of the most important skills you will ever use through out the game is life, so boost it up as much as you can, even if you're playing on easy mode.

Programing = 8
There are a couple things that sometimes seems to be a huge problem with the game, mostly because of memory management. For whoever programmed the game, this is definitely an issue that you should have worked through, cause even with a very powerful machine (I've tested in 3 different computers all with top notch video boards) the game sometimes get clunky to a point where the spells and movements don't even respond even with low quality graphics. There was a point during the game that I actually had to reboot one of the machines during the battle against the bone dragon. I know memory management is a huge pickle on Flash, but it CAN be done and that is the reason many games and animations have issues.

Graphics = 10
Solid material. worthy of a professional and commercial game. The animations in between are phenomenal and really gets you going as you play the game as you cheer for more of the fantastic variations. If I could give 11, I would :)

Sound = 9
Even though the game is not professional and clearly the folks don't have an studio, the voice overs are very interesting and do not let you down once. I only giggled a bit during the history telling as it was saying "the god of death" as I saw the obvious evil figure as a "duh!", but didn't take the quality out as I struggled during the amazing game and finished up as a perfect "sacrifice" which was very well told (I almost cried omg!).

Overall = 9
Besides it all, the game could have been a little better programmed to remove the memory issues and frustration of some scenes, but the whole game and story was so well done it should be remaked as a Xbox 360/PS3 game. If not, then well, you should at least score something with ads cause if it was up to me I would just send you 100 bucks right now lol.

Looks good, but couldn't play lol

Haha I know u probably trying to figure out how to fix the bugs right now, but it took me about 5 minutes to beat the game up and I don't even know how.
I started the game, no idea how to interact with any npc but the potion lady. Then I went outside and got killed in one hit by the tentacle monster. The game teleported me back to the town. Tried again to go outside and this time there were 2 companions with me on the fight. Got killed again. not a problem lol. Then tried a third time and OMG, my damages were dealing NaN damage! yey. One hit killed the monster and all of a sudden, "Thanks for playing bla bla..." :)
The other funny bug is when I save, my character becomes the size of a rat (probably the save expected me to be outside the town lol)
Besides that Im pretty sure u putted a lot of effort to the game. Too bad I couldn't play it no matter how bad I tried.

Let me see if I get this straight

The more u spend money on upgrades, the harder the game gets? Silly if u ask me

CLFlashDesign responds:

Not at all actually. If anything; the game gets easier? The more upgrades/machines you have does not affect how many items the customer orders. Essentially- it gives the customer choice on what to order, thus solving the problem many of you are complaining about: "It's awkward when he orders 3 pizzas or 3 burgers" etc. As there is less of a chance he'll order 3 pizzas as there are more items to choose from. Thanks for your review anyhow. - Chris

A bit tired

Dunno about you guys, but Im getting tired of these "Chap 1 RPGs" That let you get all exited, waste a good 1 or 2 hours in a quest and finish up saying "get ready for chap 2" that never goes finish up. And to get wrost, you know that u just wasted these hours playing because even IF there is a continuation, you will have to start your data from 0, once Im pretty sure they wont be able to communicate one game to the other in the browser (unless it was saved in some server that it isnt)

awsome!

yey !!! I beated all 25 levels!! and I got a code I dunno how to use it =P
anyway, for that guy that just posted complanin, read the instructions. reset button = space bar =P

If only there werent so many bugs...

I would say right away that the idea is great. Once u get used to the game (with takes a while since the only help the game offers is during game play without a pause option) u get into a completly addicted experience. The only things that turned me down really bad were the bad english, the lack of instructions and most of all, the bugs. Plz.. fix the bugs before release a game with a great idea like that, even being a beta version. Well.. I hope u finish the game. then u will deserve my highest score

Not much for a medioquer game

Sure, if it was the first animation I've ever seen from Flash 5 and 4 years ago I would probably be impressed. But c'mon... buggy and repetitive game play, total rip off of GOOD flash plataform games, one of the worst intros and historys of any web game EVER. Unless u are 12 years old or yonger, u will probably will be happy to close the window after 30 seconds of game. But if u are 12 years old or yonger, u cant play this game :P Cmon kid... Spend more time with the engine and ask someone to help u with the graphics.
