Why??
How is this game front page? It has nothing. Bad graphics, clunky controls, horrible collision detection... Feels like it was made in about 20 minutes. In fact I could have even complemented you for this game saying "its a good start. Keep working in it and it might be awesome" but what you did was just lazy for a final product. I just feel bad for this game to be picked as a front page material really...
frustrating 'n fun
Wow that was some frustrating yet quality 50 minutes of game play. All the way to level 15, then coming back to level 1. But that doesn't mean it was all good, cause I had exactly 70 deaths total lol. Still I kept wonder until at least level 6 if there was something else I could do besides shoot. You could say somewhere in the game: controls: mouse only.
So much, so little
man this is so amazingly perfect. I only feel bad cause even if you play the full version, it doesn't have as many things as you would expect from this amazing game. I just hope eventually up make a "Ownage Bust 2" with 10x more content. when that happen I'll be your biggest fan :D
Superb
Wow amazing game. And very intuitive. I'm surprise there are people who don't get it. Maybe they are better off digging garbage for food as their life objective. Seriously how dumb can you are to blame the game after not being able to figure out what to do within 30 secs.
This was by far the most creative game and the coolest way to dig my imagination in all my life. Beats anything Wii throws at us :D
Several small issues make this game a "could be"
Well it has some BIG problems with collision detection. Not because it collides when the ship doesn't, but in the way you made it, the ship somehow is either too big or an exploding animation can still hit you even thou the mine is already destroyed.
The other problem I find is that even thou the game is supposedly focused on multitasking, any one could easily get a second person in the keyboard to control the other ship while both of you mash the space bar.
Still, a creative experience. 7/10.
Yes, several things you mentioned (like the effect on the explosion possible to damage you) are intentional. The game is also supposed to be versatile enough that not only a single player can enjoy it but also two people as well. I'll probably make an Aqua Bots+ and address everyones mentioned suggestions.
The most frustrating ending of gaming history.
This game is NOT easy lol. Who ever said that most likely got bored after 5 levels. I in the other hand played the ENTIRE game, and the only reason I didn't give a 10 was basically because I got to the most frustrating "you won" of history. 50 levels, 2 hours of gameplay, only to get this:

Wow really guys? Couldn't you at least place an online score board? I never felt more frustrating after beating a game in my life. 7 out of 10, which could have been a 10.

It is definitely fun, but its yet another game that could have been THE game of the year, yet it felt like so many things were missing that the concept was actually better then the game depth. I also missed some sort of high score. After beating the game, that "ending" wasn't so rewarding as the game experience.

Wow yet another game who stole 4 hours of my life lol. Still, those were some very nice hours :D
And let me just say this: OMG that last boss is hard just as it is awesome! Took me 4 trials to kill him, and in the last one I beat having only 100 life points left in my castle! That battle was so hardcore it actually took 20 minutes of pure concentration towards cooldowns and mana points. Everything needed to be maxed out and perfectly synchronized. In other words, it was perfect. The best boss fight I ever encounter in any game.
Difficulty factor.
Great game and extremelly addictive (I've been playing for 2 days straight now). I only have 2 problems with this game:
Difficulty level: Its almost impossible to even think about beating the first 10 levels of the game. A mistake can cost you an entire game in the very early levels.
Lack of savings or continue from the same level you lost make this game almost impossible to beat.
Meh..
Well I kept asking myself why I was the only one that had nitro during the "championship" since apparently that was literally the key to victory.
